Toast with feta cheese, herbs and vegetables! So easy to prepare and great in taste! A new cooking recipe for the toast serial in the Chef’s Handyman recipe blog!
The garden is not yet prepared for herbs. Great that they can be bought during the colder season in the shops as well! I’m looking forward planting new herbs in my garden. So I will be independent and I can choose all the herbs in front of the house. Dishes without herbs do not taste as much as they might with herbs.
The cooking recipe is easy to prepare. This toasted sandwich with all the fancy ingredients is so delicious.
Chef’s Handyman cooking recipe for 4 persons: Toast with feta-cheese, herbs and vegetables.
To make filling: Chop celery stalks. Heat olive oil in frying pan. Add celery stalks. Simmer for 3-5 minutes. Cool them. Chop herbs and onion. Combine the celery stalks, onion, herbs and feta cheese.
Sandwich the toast with the filling. Toast bread in sandwich toaster until crisp.
Shopping list for 4 persons:
Bread: 500g or 16 Oz. toast bread
Vegetables: 1 onion, 5 Oz. celery stalks
Herbs: 1 bunch parsley, 1 bunch tarragon
Spices: Salt, black pepper
Oil: 2 tbsp. olive oil
Dairy Products: 250 g Feta
