During the week my menus are leaded by profit and loss accounts. In my daily life I’m a lark and a number cruncher. Sometimes I have to escape, that facts and figures do have no chance to crush me to death.
In my dreams I’m having a life as an owl and I’m an owner of a little sweet restaurant, where people can test my new creations. Actually the restaurant turned into a food blog and my guests are food blog readers. My little kitchen is my castle. Cooking is a passion, which I never will miss.
Plant based cooking. In 2014 I started cooking vegan friendly dishes. I never was a huge meat lover and I still not am. But I like cheese and dairy products very much. First it was hard to get any result which I could recommend. I compared all the time the traditional menus with the plant based versions. That did not work. The plant based kitchen is different. Once tried and you will get another feeling and meat will not be an option anymore. There are so many other flavors and fragrances which may delight your guests, so that plant based menus are also very welcome. It’s more an affair of my heart, than a mission.
My old fashioned recipe book turned into a modern iPhone/iPad app, which had a face lifting within the last months. Now the app became a real beauty. Each recipe can be updated within no time, so that the app reader will have always the latest version. Now you may also communicate with the Chef’s Handyman team. Your feedback is very welcome.
