I love this type of cake! It’s like heaven on earth.

Recipe for 4 persons: Cut pears in slices. Melt sugar in a non stick oven save frying pan. When melted place pears fan-shaped on top of the melted sugar. Season the pears with spicy sugar or cinnamon powder. Add puff pastry on the top of the pears. Make sure the puff pastry does have the same size as the pan has. Prick with a fork in the puff pastry. Bake in oven at 220°C or 425°F for 15-20 minutes. Take out and rush the cake on a plate. Attention! Cake is very hot.

Serve lukewarm with vanilla ice scoop.

Tip: For 4 dishes make two small cakes. Take a small oven save frying pan. Puff pastry size might be different, if so.

Shopping list:
Fruits: 4 pears
Baking ingredients: 12 tbsp. sugar, 2 tbsp. spicy sugar (or 1 tsp. cinnamon powder and 1 tbsp. sugar)
Doughs: 1 puff pastry
Dairy Products: 8 oz vanilla ice cream
