The idea behind Chef's Handyman was an electronic series of recipe cookbooks. The great demand of printed books was so resounding, that we have decided to publish an edition of the Chef's Handyman cookbook series. Unfortunately the printed editions are only available in German.

Chef's Handyman: Snacks! Leichte Sommerküche
The book contains a selection of recipes from all published mobile cookbooks as well as some new recipes. The wide variety of recipes made the final decision not that easy, but eventually all our favorite dishes have been included in the new cookbook by Chef's Handyman. We focused on light meals especially for summer. Enjoy the light summer meals during a picnic on the country side or in the garden together with friends.
White Asparagus with Rhubarb
White Asparagus with Rhubarb
Prepare asparagus and cook in steamer or in sugar water until soft, for approximate 10-18 minutes. It depends on the thickness of the asparagus.

Cut 3 spring onions and 3 rhubarb bars into small pieces. Heat the olive oil and butter in a pan. Add the pieces and simmer on low heat until soft. Remove pan from heat. Chop red radish and mix with the rhubarb onion pieces. Season the mixture to taste with salt and black pepper.

Serve asparagus on preheated plates. Garnish with the rhubarb mixture.
