Cheesecake with salted caramel at home
The cheesecake with salted caramel is one of my favorite cakes. A travel book accompanies the enjoyment of this wonderful cake with memories of a great trip through the USA. One year ago we could admire the desert in full bloom. Now it is our garden, which also shines with color.

For the cheesecake, mix the Philadelphia cheese with the sugar. Add 2-3 tablespoons of flour and 5 eggs one after the other and mix steadily. Then add 1/2 of the caramel mass and fold in. Grease a springform pan of 20 cm diameter with butter. Pur in the mixture and bake the cake in the oven at 180°C for 45-50 minutes until golden brown. Remove and let cool down. After about 15 minutes remove the rim of the springform pan. When the cake has cooled down, spread the remaining caramel mass over the cake.
