Also a banana bread tastes great. Variety is required. Now that everyone is at home, this is a welcome change.
Whole grain bread
That’s how it’s done.
Ingredients
- 1 kg flour, any (spelt, smoked, white or wholemeal flour)
- 0.5-6 l lukewarm water, approx. 2 cups
- 1 P. yeast 42 g fresh yeast (liquid yeast, dry yeast or diced yeast)
- 1.5 tsp. sugar
- 1.5 tbsp. sea salt
- 4-5 tbsp. olive oil
Knead with the food processor for 10-15 minutes.
Place a damp tea towel over the bowl and leave the dough to rise for an hour until it has doubled in size. Remove the dough. Knead again and place in a box form and dust with flour.
This is also the way to do it. Line a baking tray with baking parchment. Put the dough on it and dust with flour.
Bake the bread in a preheated oven at 200°C for about 40-45 minutes. If you like the bread a little darker, add 5 minutes. Wow, that smells wonderful. Take it out and let it cool down.
