The restaurant Conti in Zurich is one of my favorite restaurants. I love the ambiance and the stucco work on the ceiling. The food is Mediterranean and the portions are perfect sized. They serve vegetarian food but no vegan food. Most dishes on the menu are with fish or meat. The Conti is a perfect place for friends to talk. The tables are not squeezed into each other. So you might not listen to the neighbors talk. For me this point is important. That’s why the restaurant Conti is a favorite one.

The restaurant Elle’n Belle is vegan friendly. There is a wide selection of ingredients. The dishes do have special names like ‘Berlin is Dufte’, a spicy doughnut with soy sour cream and bean curd. We have also tried ‘Big Crossover Dream’, a red lentil bulgur Köfte and ‘Daddy Cool’, a Seitan-Döner-Wrap. The portions are huge the ice cream scoop is not.  I would prefer smaller portions, so that I may order two small ones instead of a huge one. The restaurants Elle’n Belle reminds me of restaurants located in Berlin. I like this German style of ambiance.
