Lunch on the go
There are days when you don’t feel like going one step further for lunch. Even if the modern vending machines present tempting food behind the glass wall, one has seen it after a while. Personally, I only like easily digestible food. I don’t like sour sauces, greasy pasta or oversized portions. But I enjoy dinner or breakfast with coffee.
But there is also the possibility to take prepared salads with you in a glass. This way you have exactly what you want and you are still really portioned.
Salad to go
Cut the salad into thin strips, grate the carrots and the roasts. Cut tomatoes, eggs, herbs and peppers into small pieces. Pour everything into a glass one after the other. Add the nuts at the end. Fill a salad sauce or dressing. If you like, you can also take a bought one with you. Keep both in the fridge. Empty the dressing into the glass. Put the lid on it and shake well.
Shopping list, various seasonal salads, 2 hard-boiled eggs, 1 carrot, 1 fennel, 1 edge, 1 lemon, garden herbs such as chives, basil, verbena, olive oil, vinegar, salt, pepper, a handful nuts. For the vegan version leave out the egg.
