A breeze of luxury! The Kameha Grand Zurich is more than just a hotel. Especially the bar is a highlight. Exotic drinks with exquisite ingredients do snuggle the tongue. The drinks are not only sweet. Flavors like fruit tee, tonka bean, blackberry, rose or lavender do give a special note. The Bloody Sahara is my favorite. The first sip tastes like a light fragrance of saffron, then the nose does smell thyme and finally there is a hint of chili which tickles the throat. They offer also cocktail workshops. Maybe there will be an opportunity to get more insight about these wonderful drinks. An after work aperitif will be served each Thursday. Included are nibbles like dim sum or sushi. During a coffee break a sweet tooth may be keen on the huge selection of cupcakes and sweets.
Some say pasta dishes make people happy! There might be something true about it. Fresh pasta will be served in the restaurant L’Unico. The menu is smart. There is wide selection of pasta dishes. On top meat, fish and seafood can be ordered. The menu shows also plant based sauces, ravioli and pasta without eggs, so vegetarian and vegan friendly dishes can be found.
Unfortunately we had no time to test the Japanese restaurant Yu Nijyo. The interior is great and the food is promising. There are more possibilities for meat and fish lovers, than for vegans and vegetarians.
Twice a year a kitchen party has been planned. The summer event takes place at the 3rd of July 2015 and the winter event at the 6th of November 2015.
Congratulations to the young management team. The Chef’s Handyman team did enjoy the stay very much. Thank you for sharing this wonderful place with us.
