Black Currant Granita
Place 300 g or 10 oz. of black currants in a pan. Add 3 tbsp. of vanilla sugar. Cook on low heat for 15 minutes. Then pass the berries through a sieve and cool the juice. When cooled, place one cup of the black berry juice in a blender. Add 2 cups of ice cubes. Blend the ingredients. Place the granita into glasses. Enjoy the cool drink.
