Spring is on its way and so are the strawberries. I love these red berries. Is there anything more delicious than red berries? It is said that the red color flatters the soul. Even though the thermometer is showing numbers below zero this week, I’m sure spring is coming soon.
Fresh fruits and smoothies is what’s needed during these cold and freezing days. When strawberries aren’t in season, other fruits can be chosen as well. A fruity kick will be highly recommended not only for the health but also for the soul.

Smoothies
Blend the fruits or berries. Add some date or coconut blossom syrup. Garnish with a spoon of yogurt or soy yogurt. All kind of fruits or berries can be taken. To give the drink a special touch, season the smoothies with vanilla or cinnamon.
