Chef’s Handyman on the road
La Cantinella in Wallisellen is located in the Hotel Belair. It’s a business hotel with a great Italian restaurant. After a shopping tour in the Glatt mall a little snack in the Cantinella might be the right choice. Have you ever tried pasta made in a huge parmesan pot? If not, then you have to stop by. These pasta dishes are specialties of the house. They serve two different versions a vegetarian one and one dish with sausages. The dish will be prepared in front of the guest’s table. They do flambé the pasta dish in the parmesan pan. The hot parmesan will be combined with the pasta and the sauce. What a great flavor!
The Park Hotel Vitznau is one of the top hotels in Switzerland. The location is breathtaking and the view to the mountains just gorgeous. I love the scenery especially by stormy weather. The host and the kitchen do beat everything. The private rooms are perfect for special birthdays or private occasions. Well they do have their prices, so does the wine cellar. They have wines which I can only dream about, like Bordeaux form the Cellar of Aid of the Charles Albert Frère Foundation. Actually I did not know that wine bottles can have that range of prices. What about a Sunday brunch or lunch in the Park Hotel in Vitznau to finish the week and to start the new one? On Thursday the 17th of September a kitchen party will take place. There the Chefs will give an insight in their kitchen.
